Mourning Joy - Sunday

"We did not make it this time."
Lady Bird's comment after the death of her husband

Good Mourning Widows!

Joy to you and me.

Today we honor Lady Bird Johnson to our special club - The one nobody wants to join.

Lady Bird was wife of Lyndon, 36th President of the U.S. and author of "White House Diary." She is responsible for the beautification of Washington, D. C.

Mrs. Johnson acquired her special handle at 2 years of age. It was the day her nurse said she was, "Purty as a lady bird."

After we remember Him, let's make time to write.

Go ahead. I dare you.

Mourning Joy:

Q: What is alive and has only 1 foot?

A: A leg.

Have a joyful day. And remember, we're not alone.
