Mourning Joy

"Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how. . . The artist never entirely knows. We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark."
--Agnes De Mille

Welcome famous widows Cliequot, Pommery, Bollinger, Roederer, and Perrier to our club of joy -- The one nobody wants to join.

Known as "The Champagne Widows," these fair women rose to the occasion of running the business of making champagne after the deaths of their husbands. And they were hugely successful!

Now that's Mourning Joy!

After we remember Him, toast!

Toast Champagne Widows, toast Mourning Joy, toast yourself!

Then put down your glass, your coffee mug, or your teacup -- And pick up your pen.

Write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

Mourning Joy:

Q: What animal won't shut up?

A: The yak.

"You can't change that which you can't accept."
--Beth Mende Conny

Have a joyful day Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
