Mourning Joy

Good Mourning Widows!

Joy to you and me.

Remember "Born Free?"

Remember Elsa the Lion?"

"You know what you do makes only a tiny ripple on the ocean of problems that millions of animals face in the world, but one ripple is better than none. One animal saved is better than none. Making a difference for one is better than making no difference for any..."
--Virginia McKenna

Today we welcome famous widow Virginia McKenna to our joyous club.

Virginia McKenna was wife of famous actor Bill Travers until his death in March 1994. They starred opposite each other in the movie entitled, "Born Free," as George and Joy Adamson. The role so affected Virginia McKenna she helped found the Born Free Foundation and campaigned for wild animals.

After we remember Him, think what it is that affects you.

Then finger-hug a pen.

And write it down.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

More Mourning Joy:

Q: What driver doesn't have a license?

A: A screwdriver.

Have a joyful day Widows.

Happy Halloween!

And remember, we're not alone.
