Mourning Joy

"...I had no idea that Bill had depression. I felt a strangeness in our relationship and his response to the world." --Rose Styron

Good Mourning Widows.
Joy to you and me!

Today we welcome famous widow Rose Styron to our famous club.

As you know, Rose's husband, William Styron, died this week. He was the author of "Sophie's Choice" and more. They married in 1953 and had 4 children. They lived in Roxbury, Connecticut.

Note to Rose: Please know you are in our prayers and we wish you well as you make your way through your grief.

After we remember Him, finger hug your pen.

Write something.

Write about the strangeness in your life. Or someone else's life.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

More Mourning Joy:

Q: Did you ever see the salad dressing?

A: No, but I saw the bacon strip!

Have a joyful day Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
