Mourning Joy

"My husband died, in my arms on April 16, 2002..."
--Heather Menzies

Good Mourning Widows.

Joy to you and me.

Today we welcome famous widow Heather Menzies to our joyful club -- The one that takes no volunteers, the one nobody wants to join.

Heather was married to Robert Urich. You may remember her as Louisa in "The Sound of Music."

Heather makes her home in Los Angeles with her three children. "She works tirelessly with the Urich Fund for Sarcoma research at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center."

After we remember Him, finger hug your pen.

Write something.

Write about arms, April, anything that begins with the letter A.

Go for ten minutes.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

More Mourning Joy:

Q: What has 10 legs and drools?

A: Quintuplets.

Have a joyful day Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
