Welcome Joan Didion - Mrs. John Gregory Dunne

"Life changes fast. Life changes in an instant. You sit down to dinner and life as you know it ends..." --Joan Didion
Good Mourning Widows.
Joy to you and me.
Today we welcome famous journalist essayist and novelist widow Joan Didion to our joyous club.
Joan is wife of famous writer novelist John Gregory Dunne.
John died suddenly December 30, 2003 as he sat down to dinner with his wife, Joan.
After his death, Joan penned several books, articles and wrote a memoir on the subject of her husband's death.
After we remember Him, finger hug your pen. Pull out your journal.
Write something.
Go ahead.
I dare you.
More Mourning Joy:
Q: What should you do to a red elephant?
A: Quit telling it dirty jokes.
Mourning Quote:
"I am sick and tired of being sick and tired." --Fannie Lou Hamer
Have a joyful day Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
