"He's always there to help everybody out. If anybody needs cars worked on, he'd help. He'd just charge them what it costs. He was very caring." --Audrey White
Good Mourning Widows.
Joy to you and me.

On February 14, 2007, "a co-worker found White on the ground beside the backhoe he was using to load sand onto a spreader at a county garage..."
William White was 61 years old. He had 43 years on the job. He "could have retired to a comfortable living," but "because he loved the job and the people he worked with," White kept working.
Said James Johnson, White's supervisor, "You've heard of a one-in-a-million type guy? He was one of them. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for anybody. He loved his job. He loved working here. We treat each other like a family. We're all distraught. And it's tough, becasue we still had to do the snow. It was a tough day for all of us."
Audrey White has her daughter, Stephanie and grandaughter, Samantha, to see her through the grief process. We wish her and the entire White family mourning joy.
Q: What do you need to spot an iceberg 20 miles away?
A: Good eyesight.
