Claire Ruth (Mrs. Babe Ruth)

“Babe Ruth was a man who loved children and baseball; he could receive no greater tribute than to have a youth baseball program named after him.” --Claire Ruth

Good Mourning, Widows.
Joy to you and me.
Today we honor famous widow, Claire Ruth, wife of famous NY Yankee, Babe Ruth, to our joy-ous club. The club that nobody wants to joy-n.
Babe Ruth was born February 6, 1895 in Baltimore, MD. He died August 16, 1948 of throat cancer. He was age 53.
Claire Ruth lived on in their apartment at 100 Riverside Drive until her death, 28 years later.
Mourning Joy:
A guy walks into a bar, and there's a horse behind the bar serving drinks.
The guy is staring at the horse, when the horse says, "Hey buddy? What are you staring at? Haven't you ever seen a horse serving drinks before?"
The guy says, "No, it's not that... it's just that I never thought the parrot would sell the place."

Mourning Quote:
"Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times." --Anonymous
After we remember Him, open your journal.
The topic is Happiness; Choice; Effort; Times
Fingerhug your pen.
Set the timer for ten.
What thoughts circle your brain?
Write something.
Go ahead.
I dare you.
Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
