Amber Miller (Almost Mrs. Randell T. Marshall)

"The weather is changing. And to see them smile when we hand out winter clothes and shoes to those who are barefooted, it's a nice feeling." -- Army Sgt. Randell T. Marshall

Good Mourning, Widows.

Joy to you and me.

Army Sgt. Randell T. Marshall, 22 years old, of Fitzgerald, GA, is dead. He was killed April 23, 2007, fighting for your freedom and mine, by a suicide bomber in As Sadah.

Army Sgt. Randell T. Marshall was engaged to be married to Amber Miller.

Welcome Amber Miller to the club nobody wants to be a member of.

To you and Army Sgt. Randell T. Marshall's entire family, we wish you mourning joy all the days of your lives.

Mourning Joy:

Q: What's the national anthem of the jungle?

A: "Tarzan Stripes Forever

Mourning Quote:

"She had a car full of luggage, a briefcase stuffed with notes and sketches, a very unhappy dog who'd already expressed his opinion of the move by vomiting on the passenger seat, and two boys bickering bitterly in the back." --from the novel, Blue Dahlia, by Nora Roberts

After we remember Him, open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten. Fingerhug your pen. What thoughts come to mind as you read the short passage quoted above from Nora Roberts' novel, Blue Dahlia? What is it your mind's eye sees? What thoughts flood your brain?

Write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
