Lisa Beamer (Mrs. Todd Beamer)

"We had a Norman Rockwell type of upbringing," Beamer writes. "Rather than spending evenings plopped in front of a television set, many nights our family would play games or read books together. . . . When we did watch television, our favorite show was Little House on the Prairie." --Bill Duryea, St. Petersburg Times
Good mourning, Widows. Joy to you and me.
Today we honor famous member of the club nobody wants to joy-n, famous 911 widow, Lisa Beamer, wife of famous 9/11 doomed United Airlines flight passenger, Todd Beamer.
Everyone remembers Todd's heroism, his last words spoken to a 911 operator, "Lets Roll" and the stunning young widow left.
Since the death of her husband, Lisa has penned her memoir, "Let's Roll" has appeared numerous times in the media, and given birth to their daughter.
Mourning Joy:

Q: What's red, round, and cheeky?

A: Tomato sauce
Mourning Quote:
And the day came when the risk [it took] to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. --Anais Nin
After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten.
The topic is: Choosing to blossom...
Go ahead. Write something.
I dare you.
Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
