Stella Morris (Mrs. David "Bud" Morris, Jr.)

"They gave tearful testimony before a House committee, with pictures of their lost loved ones positioned prominently on the witness table. They recounted their stories of personal travail to reporters who inquired. " --http://www.courier-journal.com

Good Mourning Widows.

Joy to you and me.

Welcome famous widow, Stella Morris, wife of famous miner, David "Bud" Morris, Jr.

David bled to death when his legs were cut off in a mine accident December 30, 2005, after an overloaded coal hauler hit him just below the knees.

He was 29 years old.

After the death of her husband, Stella joined other mine widows killed on the job and testified before the House panel in Washington, D. C. about mine safety.

Stella has their son, Landon, to see her through her mourning joy. Landon was 3 months old when his father died.

Mourning Joy:

Q: What's black and white, black and white, black and white, black and white?

A: A nun falling downstairs.

Mourning Quote:

"How do I love thee. Let me count the ways." --Anonymous

After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten.

The topic is: I love you because...

Write something.

Go ahead. I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
