Ashley Hunt (almost Mrs. Robert A. Liggett)
"The eagle is free.
Free to go whenever, wherever in search of food and to fish
Without Higher authorities saying 'you can't do this or that.'
I want to be free,
Free as the
Eagle on the wind"
--From a poem written by Army Pfc. Robert A. Liggett

"But your husband's alive, you see...Your life isn't over. Your world's the same as it was five minutes ago. So you can't know. You can't." --from the novel, "Blue Dahlia," by Nora Roberts
After we remember Him, open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten. Fingerhug your pen.
What does your mind's eye capture in today's mourning quote? What dusty memories sweep your brain when reading this short passage from Blue Dahlia? Or, doesn't?
Go ahead. Write something. I dare you.
Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
