Eve Gilmore (Mrs. Joseph A. Gilmore)

"He loved his kids." --Sean Gilmore

Good Mourning, Widows. Joy to you and me.

Welcome famous widow, Eve Gilmore, wife of famous Army Spc. Joseph A. Gilmore, age 26, of Webster, FL, to our joy-ous club. The club that nobody wants to joy-n.

Eve joy-ned our joy-ous club on May 19, 2007, the day her courageous husband, Army Spc. Joseph A. Gilmore, was killed by a bomb that detonated near his vehicle in Baghdad. He was there, for you and me, keeping our country free.

Eve has their two children, ages 5 and 3, to see her through her grief journey.

To Eve Gilmore, and Army Spc. Joseph A. Gilmore's entire family, sincerest condolences. We thank you for making the Supreme Sacrifice. We wish you mourning joy all the days of your lives.

Mourning Joy:

Q: What's Tarzan's favorite carol?

A: "Jungle Bells"

Mourning Quote:

Compassion. Honesty. Fairness. Trustworthiness. Respect for others. If those things are not the bedrocks of your life, you will suffer for their absence in time. --Charles Gibson in a speech to Union College graduates

After we remember Him, open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten. Fingerhug your pen.

What is absent in your life? What is absent in our world? What time is it?

Write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
