Salute to United States Servicemen

Good mourning, Widows.

Joy to you and me!

Today I pass along something special sent to me by a friend in honor of our great country.

It is a brilliant living rendition to our great country's flag.

Yes! It's alive!

This flag contains more than nine miles of planted flowers.
Beautiful, huh? You betcha!
If you're interested in knowing the location of this colossal attraction, you'll have to make a visit to Vandenberg Air Force Base, then ask directions. Or, just follow the long line of cars.
Measuring 740' in length x 390' wide, this flag maintains required dimensions, as described in Executive Order #10834.
A first, Old Glory occupies 6.65 acres.
After catching a breath, visitors will note each pointed star is White Larkspur and measures 24' wide.
Individual stripes measures 30' wide.
An amazing floral wonder, this flag represents our United States of America, and contains more than 2 million flowers.
Thank you, Bill Morson, author of Soldiers' Prayer For our soldiers.... for this marvelous aerial photo.
Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
