Taryn Davis (Mrs. Michael W. Davis)

"He was one of the most incredible people I ever got the chance to know. He was the kind of guy people looked up to." --Matt Sustaita, longtime friend

Good Mourning, Widows. Joy to you and me.

Welcome famous widow, Taryn Davis, wife of famous Army Spc. Michael W. Davis, from San Marcos, Texas, to our joy-ous club. The club nobody wants to joy-n. Ever.

Spc. Michael W. Davis was killed by a roadside bomb May 21, 2007 in Baghdad, Iraq, fighting to keep you and me safe. He was 22 years old.

We are eternally grateful to Army Spc. Michael W. Davis for his sacrifice, to his family, and to his friends. We offer our sincerest condolences and wish them mourning joy all the days of their lives.

Mourning Joy:

Q: What's the time when the clock strikes thirteen?

A: Time to get a new clock.

Mourning Quote:

"The past is a ghost, the future a dream, and all we ever have is now. --Bill Cosby

After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten.

Write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
