"Today was a hard day. I had to say good-by to my family." --Journal entry by Army Sgt. Christopher N. Gonzalez
Good Mourning, Widows. Joy to you and me.
Today we welcome famous widow, Tonita Gonzalez, wife of famous Army Sgt. Christopher N. Gonzalez, from Bird Springs, AZ, to our joy-ous club.
Tonita became a member of the club nobody wants to joy-n on May 14, 2007. On that day, Army Sgt, Christopher N. Gonzalez, age 25, was killed, defending you and me, in Salman Pak, by small-arms fire.
Tonita has their 5 year old son, Breenen, to see her through the grief journey.
To Tonita, to Breenen, sincerest condolences. Sincerest thanks. You have suffered the Supreme Sacrifice and we are eternally grateful. We wish you mourning joy all the days of your lives.
Q: What's best for sick birds?
Ye fond relations stop your falling tears
No more your cares she wants or sorrows hears.
Remov'd from troubles to the blest abode
her love her thoughts are all transfer'd to God --Inscription on the headstone of Jennet Ann Purdy, who died in September 1810 at age 9
After we remember Him, open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten. Fingerhug your pen.
Where are your thoughts today? Where is your mind's eye?
I dare you.
Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
