Amy Sabalu (Mrs. Wilberto Sabalu Jr.)

"He was a gung-ho soldier. He died doing what he loved." --Ana Lozano

Good Mourning, Widows. Joy to you and me.

Today we welcome famous widow, Amy Sabalu, wife of famous Army Master Sgt. Wilberto Sabalu, to our joy-ous club, the club nobody wants to joy-n.

Amy Sabalu joined our mighty ranks on May 6, 2007.

On that date, Army Master Sgt. Wilberto Sabalu was killed when the convoy he was riding in was fired on by an Afghan soldier at a prison in Pol-e-Charki.

Army Master Sgt. Wilberto Sabalu was 36 years old. He hailed from Chicago, IL.

Amy Sabalu is left with their two children, Joshua, 12, and Nadia, 10, to see her through the grief process.

To Amy, Joshua, Nadia, sincere condolences. We are grateful. And we salute Army Master Sgt. Wilberto Sabalu's memory, his valor, his courage.

May you experience mourning joy all the days of your lives.

Mourning Quote:

Be happy: Do a one day news fast. --Monica Sheehan

After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open your joy-nal. Set the timer for ten minutes.

The topic is: News fast...

Go ahead. Write something. I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, We're not alone.
