Ruth Calvert (Mrs. Ray Walston)

"I have 30 seconds to tell you I have been waiting 60 years to get on this stage." --Ray Walston
Good Mourning, Widows. Joy to you and me.
welcome famous widow Ruth Calvert, wife of famous actor, Ray Walston, to the club nobody wants to joy-n.
Ruth Calvert and Ray Walston married November 3, 1943. They were married when Ray died, January 1, 2001.
Mourning Joy:
Q: What makes a piano laugh?
A: Someone who tickles the ivories
Mourning Quote:
The holiest of all holidays are those
Kept by ourselves in silence and apart,
The secret anniversaries of the heart . . .
--Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open what I lovingly refer to as a Joy-nal. Set a clock timer for ten minutes. Write something. Let the words outlined in the quote above loop your brain. What pops? What resonates? What ripples the rivers in your heart?
Write something.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.
