Army Sgt. 1st Class Adrian M. Elizalde

"Whatever he set his sights on, he went after it. He wanted to be the best at whatever he attempted." --Jorge Elizalde, father

Good Mourning, Everyone! Joy to you and me.

Today we honor the memory of famous Army Sgt. 1st Class Adrian M. Elizalde from North Bend, Oregon.

Elizalde died for you and me on August 23 in Baghdad, killed by a bomb blast. He was 30 years old.

Elizalde leaves his mother, Teresa, his father, Jorge, and a daughter, Sydney Grace, age 6, to mourn his death.

To every member of famous Army Sgt. 1st Class Adrian M. Elizalde's family, Griefcase extends sincerest condolences and profound gratitude for making the Ultimate Sacrifice. Griefcase wishes you mourning joy all the days of your lives.

Mourning Joy:

Something I learned from life: When you fall down, pick yourself up; dust yourself off. Start all over again.

Mourning Quote:

"Dont worry about spelling, punctuation, grammar. (Don't even care about staying within the margins and lines on the page.)" --Natalie Goldberg

After we remember Him, write something. Open what I lovingly refer to as a Joy-nal, set a clock timer for ten minutes, fingerhug your pen, and write something.

Go ahead. I dare you.

Have an abundantly joy-filled day, Everyone! And remember, we're not alone.
