"I just wish people would realize he was an extraordinary photographer. Don't hold getting old against him." --J. Tyge O'Donnell
Good Mourning, Everyone. Joy to you and me!
Today we welcome famous widow, Kamiko O'Donnell, wife of famous presidential photographer, Joe O'Donnell, to the club nobody wants to joy-n.
Joe O'Donnell was born May 7, 1922 in Johnstown, PA. He died August 9, 2007. He was age 85.
Joe O'Donnell, praised by The New York Times as the photographer responsible for the famous photo of John-John Kennedy saluting at his father's funeral, actually had nothing to do with that photo. Joe O'Donnell only claimed to have taken that photo, along with more than 80 other famous photos.
As Joe's widow, Kamiko, and his family claim, it was his (Joe O'Donnell's) memory which was stolen, and that he meant no harm.
In a world filled with anger, war, bigotry, hatred and more, perhaps it is best to forgive and forget, and just let dead men rest in peace.
Griefcase extends sincerest condolences to the O'Donnell family and wishes everyone mourning joy all the days of your lives.
Regarding Fame: "I want it." -- Tobi Sanders
After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open what I lovingly refer to as a joy-nal, set a clock timer for ten minutes, and write something.
I dare you.
