Mrs. Laura Edds (Army 1st Lt. Jonathan W. Edds)

"He was good at everything." --Pat West

Good Mourning, Everyone! Joy to you and me.

Today, we welcome into the club nobody wants to join, famous widow, Laura Edds, wife of famous West Point graduate, Army 1st Lt. Jonathan W. Edds, from White Pigeon, Michigan, who died for you and me.

Lt. Jonathan W. Edds was 24 years old. In addition to his wife, Laura, he leaves a brother, Josh, who starts his senior year at West Point. "John loved what he did," said his big brother.

To Laura, Josh, and every member of 1st Lt. Jonathan W. Edds' family, Griefcase extends sincerest condolences. We are a grateful Nation. Griefcase wishes you mourning joy all the days of your lives.

Mourning Joy:

Lesson learned from my small dog, Izzy: When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open what I lovingly refer to as a joy-nal, set a clock timer for ten minutes, and write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

Have an abundantly, joy-filled day, Everyone. And remember, we're not alone.
