"He was fun to be around. He always made you laugh." --Glenda Brown, mother

Good Mourning, Everyone!

Joy to you and me.

Today, Griefcase welcomes into the club nobody wants to joy-n, famous widow, Lena Brown, wife of famous Army Staff Sgt., Kevin R. Brown.

Sgt. Kevin R. Brown, of Harrah, Oklahoma, was killed September 27 by a roadside bomb in Mugdadiyah. He would have turned 39 on October 12.

Sgt. Kevin R. Brown died for me and you.

Griefcase extends sincerest condolences, profound gratitude, and wishes mourning joy to every member of Sgt. Brown's family.

Mourning Quote:

Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts. --Aristotle

Mourning Joy:

“Smoking kills. If you’re killed, you’ve lost a very important part of your life.” --Brooke Shields, during an interview to become spokesperson for federal anti-smoking campaign.

After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open what I lovingly refer to as a joy-nal, set a clock timer for ten minutes, and write something. Go ahead. I dare you.
