Army Pfc. Mathew D. Taylor

Good Mourning, Everyone! Joy to you and me.

Today we honor Army Pfc. Mathew D. Taylor.

Mathew Taylor died September 26 of complications from wounds suffered after his Humvee was struck by a roadside bomb on July 23 in Sarobi District, Afghanistan. He died for you and me.

Taylor was 21 years old and was from Sacramento, California.

To the entire Taylor family, Griefcase extends sincerest condolences, heartfelt gratitude and wishes for mourning joy all the days of your lives.

Mourning Joy:

You're getting old when you wake up with that morning-after feeling, and you didn't do anything the night before.

Mourning Quote:

"Makin' it in life is kinda like bustin' broncs: you're gonna get thrown a lot. The simple secret is to keep gettin' back on."

After we remember Him, fingerhug your pen. Open what I lovingly refer to as a joy-nal, and write something. Go ahead. I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Everyone. And remember, we're not alone.
