An Irish Blessing

Good Mourning, Widows! Good Mourning, Everyone. Joy to you and me.

Today is St. Patrick's Day. I am not Irish, nor am I religious, but in the spirit of elfdom, the color green, and Emerald City, I wish you the following, and more:

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sunshine warm on your face,
The rain fall soft on your fields,
And until we meet again, may God
hold you in the palm of his hand.

Mourning Joy:
Q: What's the best thing to do if an elephant charges?

A: Pay and run.

Mourning Quote:

A schedule defends from chaos and whim. It is a et for catching days...A schedule is a mock-up of reason and order--willed, faked, and so brought into being. --Annie Dillard

After we remember Him, do what I do. Fingerhug your pen. Open what I lovingly refer to as a joy-nal. And write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

Have a joy-filled day, Widows. And remember, we're not alone.

One more thing. If you get a chance, be sure to stop by and leave a message at the Forum.

All comments, suggestions, and questions are welcome.

  1. Hey, Linda,

How's it going? You must be really, really busy because you aren't blogging every single day right now.

    I hope life is grand!
