Smile, Darn 'Ya, Smile
Good Mourning, Widows! And, anybody else out there mourning the loss of their special loved one,
Did you know...
It takes half as many muscles to smile as it does to make a frown.
What's more it makes you and the people around you feel twice as good.
Okay. So, what are you waiting for?
Smile, Darn 'Ya, Smile!
After that, do what I do. Open what I lovingly refer to as a Joy-nal. Then, fingerhug your pen and write something.
I know it's not easy losing the one you love. On the long list of ugly, that item rockets to the top. But, if I can make it, so can you.
And now for a few giggles, a dose of Mourning Joy:
Age is something that doesn't matter, unless you are a cheese.
If you're too lazy to start anything, you may get a reputation for patience.
Every dog has his day, but the nights are reserved for the cats.
A dentist and a minicurist fought tooth and nail.
Life begins at 40, but so do fallen arches, rheumatism, faulty eyesight, and the tendency to tell a story to the same person, three or four times.
Police were called to a day-care center where a three year old was resisting a rest.
We'll never run out of math teachers because they always multiply.
He who knows that enough is enough will always have enough.
Common sense is the collection of prejudices acuired by age eighteen.
Have a joy-filled day, Everyone. And just remember, we're not alone.
