Welcome, Autumn!

Welcome Widows and anybody else out there mourning the loss of a loved one.

Today is the first day of September 2009. Time to usher in a new month and new season--autumn leaves changing colors, sounds of children's chatter and laughter as they dash off to catch school busses--time to embrace change, time to experience what I lovingly refer to as mourning joy.

Yes, it is sad to see summer end...and, it's joyful, too.

Mourning Advice: Live the new season.

Inhale. Exhale.

Feel the crinkle in your nose as you breathe in crisp morning air;

Dont' be shy. Go ahead. Wave and smile at your neighbor's daughter or son darting out her or his door.

Fill your senses.

Welcome fall!

After that, do what I do. Open that joy-nal, and write something.

Go ahead.

I dare you.

I know it's not easy living life without your loved one by your side, but I'm here to tell you, we're not alone.

You can and you will get through.

If I can do it, so can you.

Have a joy-filled day, Everyone.
